MEETING FEARNE COTTON AT THE VERY X FEARNE EVENT

On Wednesday I headed to London to kick off a few days filled with press days and events. I've done some pretty cool things through my blog, but an exclusive event with Fearne Cotton has to be one of the best. Fearne showcased her new AW14 collection the media in the infamous celebrity hangout, The Groucho Club in Soho. I met the lovely Jess from Velvet Daisy and Charlie Rose from Seasons Come And Go and we sipped on passion fruit martinis and mojitos whilst taking a look at the new pieces.
The room quickly filled up with bloggers and journalists who were all eager to get a look at the new range. Fearne is without a doubt a style icon - she takes her signature style and clear creativity to create effortlessly stylish pieces. I think you can put her success down to the fact that she speaks to your everyday woman with her collections.
Her pieces are easy to wear, glamorous and subtly carry off her timeless rock Although the range isn't so much my personal style, I couldn't help but imagine so many girls and women I know in the pieces knowing that they'd love them. Her most eye-catching piece had to be the bright yellow dress which looked incredible on Fearne. There was drop-hem shift dresses, co-ords, a jacket and trouser kimono sets and plenty of power cocktail dresses to choose from.
After plenty of cocktails and occupying the photobooth, we headed back to the tube feeling a little star struck. Overall it was a great event, thank you so much to Very for inviting me!

What do you think of Fearne's collection? Are you a fan of her style?
